Barnsley - Thurgoland Men

There is a memorial plaque in the parish church remembering 22 men, http://www.barnsleywarmemorials.org.uk/2014/08/thurgoland-ww1-memorial-plaque-holy.html and a stone war memorial cross at the foot of Smithy Hill remembering 27 WW1 and 5 WW2 men plus a soldier killed in Afghanistan.
