Barnsley - Worsborough Common Men and Women

A traditional stone pillar War Memorial stands outside St Luke's Church, the area around has changed dramatically over the last 100 years, from tiny terraced miners' cottages to council housing and modern flats - but the memorial still stands listing 46 fallen men from the area. (Also spelt Worsbrough and Worsbro'). http://barnsleywarmemorials.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/worsborough-common-st-lukes-church.html ----------- If you are having trouble adding information to men in this Community on Lives of the First World War I would be happy to help. ----- Linda Hutton IWM Volunteer barnsleyhistorian@gmail.com
